Cuddling

Snuggling, hugging, kissing, stroking, caressing and co are often used as synonyms for cuddling. But while snuggling is actually more about quite close and intimate physical and also skin contact, cuddling is more about leaning against each other, for example, when watching a film on the couch. Both tend to be done over a longer period of time. Hugging is understood to be the brief squeezing of two partners, among other things, when greeting or congratulating someone. Mostly you move back and forth here and snuggling, in contrast to cuddling, is rather wild.

Everyone is familiar with the definition of kissing. Touching your partner with your lips. This can be the lips of the partner, but it can also be any other part of the body. While cuddling and snuggling are not done during cuddling, kissing can be incorporated during cuddling. Especially when the heads are very close, you can give your partner a kiss while snuggling intimately. Stroking, where you run your hand or fingers over your partner's clothed or naked body, is also a good thing to do while cuddling. Be aware that your partner may be particularly sensitive or ticklish in certain places. The best position for snuggling is the spoon position. Here, one partner lies very close behind the other, with the legs of both partners usually bent. The rear partner puts his arm around the front one. This position is also good for couples to fall asleep. The man usually lies behind the woman, which is also the more convenient option for both partners because of the difference in size.
