Flogger

A flogger is a tool to beat, chastise or humiliate your partner. Until a few years ago, floggers were mainly found in the BDSM scene and rarely in bedrooms. Thanks to a well-known book and film series, the popularity of floggers has increased worldwide. A flogger consists of a handle that can be made of different materials. The classic flogger has a leather handle, either on full leather or braided leather. However, hard hitting and punishment is not the only use of a flogger. However, there are many variations. Some handles are made of metal, rubber, or even partly shaped like a penis. Several strands or ropes of soft leather, cotton, or rubber come out of the handle. Some models have balls, spikes, or small metal eyelets attached to the ends of the individual strands.

The word flogger comes from the English "to flog" which means to whip someone. However, a flogger is not only there to whip and beat the partner, but you can also caress the partner on all parts of the body and run the soft strands over the skin. It is the mixture between stroking and beating at irregular intervals that makes whipping a highly erotic game for sub and dom. Sub is the partner who is whipped and Dom is the partner who is whipped or stroked with the flogger. Depending on the force with which the flogger is used, the partner feels pain ranging from mild to very severe. Floggers with different ends can also hurt the sub if a lot of force is applied. So you should always discuss with your partner beforehand how far you can go, how much your partner can take and also agree on a safe word that will stop the game immediately. One of the best-known floggers is the cat o' nine tails, which, as the name suggests, has nine strands to the front. People were whipped with this flogger as punishment as early as the Middle Ages.
