Latex clothing

Latex clothing is available for the entire body. Whether as a dress, skirt, bodysuit, headgear or sexy underwear, latex shines in a colourful variety from lingerie to masks to full-body suits, it fits like a second skin and can visually enhance curves and curves in an erotic way. Latex is a special mixture of various plastic particles and an aqueous liquid. Some products are made of this so-called polymer dispersion, including adhesives, certain binders or dyes. The properties of latex are that it is water-repellent, impermeable to air and, depending on its composition, also very elastic. Basically, latex is nothing more than a rubber. For this reason, the sexual preference for latex and latex clothing is also called rubber fetish. Latex fits tightly to the body like a second skin, adapts to any shape and is very tear-resistant, but the smell and sound of rubbing rubber against each other is also appealing to rubber fetishists. These properties make latex clothing an ideal accessory in the erotic sector. However, latex clothing does not always have to be made of refined petroleum, or more precisely plastic, there is also natural rubber. This natural rubber is obtained from the sap of the rubber tree. Since rubber naturally has a somewhat milky colour, almost any colour can be produced by adding special colour particles. Now there are 3 ways to process latex clothing.

1. Dipping: Here, a prefabricated mould made of ceramic is dipped into the liquid latex and pulled out again. This method is mostly used for smaller latex garments, gloves, socks, masks. The disadvantage of this method is that due to the dipping and dripping, the material is not always uniformly thick at every point. The larger the piece of clothing becomes, the more susceptible it is to ripping if it has been submerged. In addition, it is not possible to make individual garments out of latex in this way. The advantage of the method — many latex garments can be made in a short time without much effort.
2. Gluing: Here, individual prefabricated latex pieces are glued together. In contrast to dipping, individual customer wishes can be taken into account here and the latex clothing can be made to measure. The material is also more uniform and therefore more tear-resistant than dipped material. Of course, glued latex clothes are much more expensive than dipped ones, especially if they are customized.
3. Sewing: Yes, latex clothes can also be sewn together. For this, you also take pieces from prefabricated latex sheets. A big disadvantage of sewing latex garments together is that the thread affects the elasticity of the material. In addition, piercing with the needle destroys the material and small tears can occur, and the garment is not very durable.
