Russian Sex Practice

Russian sex refers to sexual practices in which the man does not penetrate the woman vaginally or anally with his erect penis. He still finds sexual satisfaction, including climax, but only by rubbing his member against other suitable parts of the body until he ejaculates.

Originally, the Russian sex practice was probably exclusively understood as the rubbing of the penis between the closed thighs of the woman. In all likelihood, this was practised because sex before marriage was frowned upon in Russia - as in many other countries of the world. It was considered a particularly big advantage that the likelihood of an (unwanted) pregnancy could be virtually ruled out. Nowadays, Russian sex is usually accompanied by a special kind of foreplay: the man first shaves the woman's mons veneris and labia majora thoroughly and massages his partner's thighs with oil. This completely avoids rubbing and scratching the female intimate hair on the sensitive skin of the penis. Especially if the shave is thorough. For this sex variation, the woman should lie either on her back or on her stomach, and press her legs firmly together. The man lies on top of her from the front or back, depending on his choice, and copulates with her thighs, so to speak. This can also be extended to rubbing between the woman's buttocks.

Massaging the penis with the breasts is also part of the Russian sex practice. While the woman lies on her back, the man sits on her stomach and rubs his penis between her pressed-together breasts. Many women find this variant very erotic, as it is one of the few opportunities to see their partner's genitals during orgasm. Some couples also find it very arousing when the semen pours over the woman's face and cleavage.

Because of the many different possibilities of modern contraception, Russian sex practice is no longer used to avoid pregnancy. Rather, many couples like to include it in their sexual repertoire because it is a particularly intimate form of intimacy. Some women also see it as cuddle sex from their perspective. Similarly, Russian sex practice offers a way to still satisfy the partner in situations where women cannot or do not want to be penetrated. Such situations arise, for example, when the woman has her period or is pregnant.
